  • Sandy White

    President & CEO

    Sandy has more than 30 years of experience in leadership positions in the tourism and hospitality arena with a major emphasis on marketing and public relations, tourism, customer service, hospitality, as well as downtown and community development.

    Sandy has contributed to the success of several Georgia organizations in capacities such as Executive Director of Washington-Wilkes County Tourism, Main Street & Chamber of Commerce; Hinesville-Liberty County Tourism & Main Street; and Hawkinsville-Pulaski Economic Development, Chamber of Commerce and Main Street. Most recently, she managed Visitor Services for the Greater Sitka Chamber of Commerce & Visit Sitka in Sitka, Alaska.

    Sandy has advocated for economic vitality for businesses and activities, all the while striving for balance between the needs of the residents and those of the visitors. She believes "By bringing people from all walks of life and different skills sets together for a common goal, you can help preserve and share the richness of the community and its special heritage with the world."

    Social Media Manager

    A long-time resident of Dade County, Patricia’s bubbly personality will welcome tourists and Dade residents alike to the Alliance Welcome Center and provide them with information about places to see, where to stay, and spots to eat. Patricia also has many other talents including managing the Alliance's social media as well as supporting our member businesses.

    Patricia has a solid background in customer service with experience as an insurance agent, administrative assistant, and paraprofessional in the Dade County School System. Most recently, she taught English online, working with students around the world.

  • Darlene Carlson

    Gallery & Finance Manager

    As a five+ year resident of Dade County, Darlene has immersed herself in Dade’s culture and retro vibe! Knowledgeable about the many adventures this area offers, Darlene looks forward to helping both travelers and residents experience the cornerstone of Georgia.

    As the recently retired executive director of the Chattanooga Audubon Society, Darlene has specialty skill sets in financial management and retail store supervision and much more. Darlene will operate the Cornerstone Gallery & Gifts, as well as manage bookkeeping for the organization.
